The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu is poised to emerge victorious within the native frame elections in 9 districts for which the 2 part polls have been hung on October 6 and 9. In the meantime, the opposition AIADMK seems to have suffered a setback because the counting of votes polled within the two-phase elections started on Tuesday morning. As in step with the rising developments, the important opposition birthday celebration is trailing at the back of the ruling DMK at a number of puts.
The DMK, which were given off to an excellent get started, is conveniently positioned and is poised for victory. Polling was once held in 39 unions on October 6 whilst the rest 35 unions went to polls on October 9, in Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupathur, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Tirunelveli and Tenkasi districts.
Elections have been held to fill 27,003 posts together with 140 district panchayat ward participants, 74 panchayat unions, 1,381 panchayat union ward participants, 2,901 village panchayat presidents and 22,581 village panchayat ward councillors.
The DMK has been main since morning when the counting of votes was once taken up and this set the tone for celebrations at Anna Arivalayam, the headquarters of the birthday celebration – right here.
The opposition AIADMK gave the impression to be a divided camp in taking at the DMK mix within the polls as its best friend PMK selected to contest by itself from all of the 9 districts and some other best friend, the BJP, contested on my own in Kallakurichi district. Out of the 140 district panchayat wards, the DMK is forward of AIADMK in no less than 88 seats whilst the opposition birthday celebration was once main in two seats.
Within the panchayat union wards, the DMK is main in 331 and the AIADMK in 40.
