Okay, look.

I’m a sensible kinda Conservative.  I know what I believe and I believe what I know.  I detest progressivism, and I know our country is definitely headed in the WRONG direction under the regime of Obama and his Congress.  Fine.  We got that out of the way.  Now let’s chat about Sarah Palin’s decision to support John McCain’s bid for re-election to his current Senate seat.

I really have only one question: WHY, Sarah, WHY?

Check this: On March 18, 2010, Rasmussen Reports had this to say:

Following the announcement that Sarah Palin would campaign for his reelection, McCain opened up a 53% to 31% lead over Hayworth in January. The two men were in a near tie in November.

Hayworth has been attacking McCain as not conservative enough, but the senator, who just two years ago was the Republican presidential nominee, has been countering with a number of heavyweight endorsements from the right. Palin will attend a McCain rally in Tucson later this month.

Polling last fall found that 61% of Arizona Republicans felt McCain was out of touch with the party base.

Hmm.  So it seems Mr. McCain needs a little of the Sarah magic to help him along.  And she has been giving it, even though no Conservative with any common sense agrees that McCain is a true Conservative.  What is she thinking?

From Rebuild the Party we see this entry:

Sarah Palin has apparently given notice that she will endorse John (McAmnesty) McCain’s senate race in Arizona! Once again folks, she is going to be “lipstick on a pig” (him-McCain) …again!!!

I guess she will never learn. She is a glutten for more punishment, with the likes of “CFR” (Council on Foreign Relations) globalist , “neocon” John McCain (aka: “Juan McAmnesty McCain”), who pushed the last recent ‘AMNESTY BILL’ , titled : “COMPREHENSIVE” IMMIGRATION REFORM. (The very same agenda that GOP California candidate for Governor MEG WHITMAN proposes!)

THIS will probably be the “KISS OF DEATH” for Palin (and “CFR” McCAIN) in this Arizona race. McCain needs all the LIPSTICK he can muster. Why? Because J.D.Hayworth (endorsed by “America’s Toughest Sheriff”..Sheriff Joe Arpaio) and CHRIS SIMCOX (Minutemen Corps) are running against “neocon” CFR member and “open borders” McCain, in the GOP primary. McCain is running scared. Good! McCain’s senate race campaign will be ANOTHER  “sinking Titanic . Palin is only re-arranging the deck chairs, at HER own peril.

By PALIN supporting McAmnesty McCain….she is commenting political suicide with conservatives and constitutionalist-minded voters.

Why, Sarah, are you throwing your lot in with a RINO?  Listen, I am no GOP fan.  This is public knowledge.  I know some Republicans who actually are true Conservatives, and I know some who are Republicans for the sake of being anti-Democrat.  And I know some who are Republican in name only.  My question is based on reading Sarah’s book and then seeing her actually make speeches for McCain, saying he deserves to go back to Congress.

Is she insane?  Am I missing something?  At what point did she decide it would be a good idea to stump for a RINO?  I do not personally know Sarah Palin.  I really have had nothing but sterling things to opine about her up until this point.  But she is not representing Conservatism by stumping for McCain, she is representing the GOP, and quite honestly, she has lost a ton of respect from me and millions of others by doing so.  (I expect tons of anger from the GOP faithful for that remark, but hey— Free Speech, baby.)

I just don’t get it.  The commenter from Rebuild the Party calls this move of Sarah’s as being “political suicide”.  Hmm.  Well, I wouldn’t say all that, but it doesn’t look good for her credibility and integrity to support a RINO.  I would welcome your insights into this issue.  Maybe I’m missing something?
