I hope you’re sitting down for this or not drinking any kind of beverage. Ready? Okay, so, progressive kool-aid drinker, Patrick Patterson, with the Modesto Progressive Examiner, has written this fine little piece about how Sarah Palin and FOX News should be prosecuted for sedition.
Yes. You read that right. Sarah Palin and FOX News should be tried for sedition.
Let’s take a closer look at the words of Mr. Patterson, shall we?
The last couple of decades has seen a prodigious drop in civility in political discourse beginning with the rise of Rush Limbaugh in the early 90s. However, Fox News’s ongoing rhetoric takes it to a new low. In fact, The management and commentators of Fox News are a seditious conspiracy in violation of US Code: Title 18, 2384. They are using lies and distortions to create a climate hostile to the operation of the lawfully elected government of the United States of America.
At least he provides a link so we can all refresh ourselves on what Palin and FOX have apparently violated according to US Code.
The first amendment to the constitution guarantees the rights of freedom of speech and of the press, however the crime of treason is also outlined in the constitution, showing that there are certain established limits on speech. These same limits on speech were frequently touted by the right wing to silence dissent when George W Bush was in office. The “War President” frequently said that by speaking against him was providing aid and comfort to the enemies. However, Sarah Palin will be continuing her part in the seditious conspiracy when she appears to speak at the California State University at Stainslaus.
And Mr. Patterson adds:
Beyond Palin, there is the entire Newscorp cabal. Glenn Beck and the rest of the talking heads on Fox News have joined to repeat a homogeneous message that consistently distorts the actions of the lawfully elected President of the United States and the congress to inflame anti-government sentiments. This has moved beyond dissent into the realm of sedition, and they need to be prosecuted for Seditious Conspiracy under US Code Title 18 §2384.
If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.
FOX’s parent company Newscorp should be included as a co-defendant in the case. The Supreme Court ruled that corporations had the same rights as individuals, so it would stand to reason that Newscorp would also have the responsibility as part of this conspiracy.
Now, you folks are intelligent enough to read the rest on your own. I fear even by my posting the words of Mr. Patterson here, I have lost IQ points that will take weeks to recover. My biggest issue with this waste of cranial tissue is that where were all these liberal women when Mr. George Bush was being threatened with signs that called for his death? Would that not be construed as seditious activity?
I know, I know…I’m beating a dead horse here. We all know that when the liberal America-haters protest or threaten our Presidents, it is okay. But if your President is threatened by The Truth about his agenda and what it is really all about, you are obviously a horrible person who is seeking to usurp the government and eat the babies of your enemies.

I believe the often interjected “lawfully elected” phraseology is the leftists’ justification for their seditious efforts against the Bush Administration which they continue to maintain was never “lawfully elected”. They’re a bunch a crybabies. They never got over 2000. And now that they’re in power, they’ll do anything they can to stick it to the right for it.
So, when I see “lawfully elected”, “duly elected”, and the like, that’s code for, “We’re still really, really upset and pissed off about Gore losing and our liberal agenda being put on hold for eight long years, and we’re going to make you pay…now that we can.”
