From Lady Libertas, (LOVE HER!!) at Right Pundits, another brilliant article to stimulate your brains.  Please to enjoy!

————————-

Nancy Pelosi has apparently been seeing nefarious, white, racist men in Brooks Brothers suits who probably drive pickup trucks. These nefarious men have hijacked the Tea Party movement … in the name of … gasp, the GOP!

Lady Libertas has doubts that Nancy Pelosi can see too far past the Obama Agenda that she has been ramming down our throatslegislating but after, Pelosi claimed the GOP had hijacked the Tea Party, she also claimed to share views with the Tea Party. Someone should contact the FDA and let them know that Botox apparently affects brain function when overused.

Pelosi had a sit down with Elizabeth Vargas on ABC’s “This Week” and shared her opinion about the Tea Party:

“Some of it is orchestrated from the Republican headquarters,” Pelosi said. She also added that, “Some of it is hijacking the good intentions of lots of people who share some of our concerns that we have about the role of special interests.”

Of course, this is from the same woman who called the Tea Party astroturf, unamerican and accused of using Nazi symbolism just last summer. As Lady Libertas reads it, the Tea Party is being victimized by the GOP and she now shares “concerns” about special interests.

Fascinating. Do tell, Nancy. Would these be the same special interests that are camped out on the porch of the White House waiting for a handout? Or the same special interests that are meeting behind closed doors with the President of the United States regarding healthcare “reform”?

The interview with Nancy Pelosi and Elizabeth Vargas continues and Lady Libertas simply must share it with you – Let’s all be crazy together:

VARGAS: Let’s talk a bit about the coming elections in November. You had recently– and the Tea Party movement, do you think it will be a force to be reckoned with? You had said last summer that it was a faux grassroots movement. You called it the Astroturf movement.

PELOSI: In some respects it is. Uh-huh.

VARGAS: Is the Tea Party movement a force?

PELOSI: No – No what I said at the time is, that they were — the Republican Party directs a lot of what the Tea Party does, but not everybody in the Tea Party takes direction from the Republican Party. And so there was a lot of, shall we say, Astroturf, as opposed to grassroots.

But, you know, we share some of the views of the Tea Partiers in terms of the role of special interest in Washington, D.C., as — it just has to stop. And that’s why I’ve fought the special interest, whether it’s on energy, whether it’s on health insurance, whether it’s on pharmaceuticals and the rest.

VARGAS: So, common ground with many people in the Tea Party movement.

PELOSI: Well, no, there are some. There are some because they, again, some of it is orchestrated from the Republican headquarters. Some of it is hijacking the good intentions of lots of people who share some of our concerns that we have about the role of special interests and many Tea Partiers, not that I speak for them, share the view, whether it’s — and Democrats, Republicans and Independents share the view that the recent Supreme Court decision, which greatly empowers the special interests, is something that they oppose.

Frankly, Lady Libertas is not surprised to see Pelosi speaking out of both sides of her mouth, in the same sentence and without making any sense at all. This is a repeated pattern with Nancy Pelosi.

Allow me to clarify a few things for Nancy Pelosi about Tea Party.

The White House and the Democratic leadership can continue to underestimate the passion and reach of the Tea Party. The elections of New Jersey and Virginia and Massachusetts have already proven that they will underestimate to the detriment of Democratic incumbents.

Tea Party is not a Republican movement. It is a Conservative Movement, it is an Independent Movement, it is a Movement of the People, For the People, By the People. And hijackers will not be looked upon kindly … from any party.

Tea Party does not represent the GOP. The Wild Card Factor will apply to RINO (Republican in Name Only) candidates as well as to Democratic candidates. Lady Libertas suggests that Nancy Pelosi and her minions pay very close attention to Arizona and John McCain. My prediction is that Tea Party support will rally behind JD Hayworth.

The disconnect in DC with the American People has become obvious and comical – comical in an hysterical oh-my-god-they-are-bankrupting-our-country kind of way. Barack Obama reached a new milestone on February 27, 2010 with a Presidential Approval rating by Rasmussen at -21. This is the lowest since he was inaugurated.

DC is not listening to us. Pelosi is not listening to us. The Tea Party is gaining momentum with primaries occurring now through the summer. November 2010 is the goal and the Tea Party is anticipating kicking the ball right through the goal posts for a Victory – with or without the GOP.
