Massa is flinging some serious political poo at Obama, the Dems, and Rahm Emanuel.  We are witnessing the worst possible scenario the Democrats could face with November coming up!

Lady Libertas has been watching the developing Eric Massa saga with great interest and saga it is. Eric Massa is not going “quietly into the night”. He has decided to expose the Democratic Leadership and their tactics surrounding healthcare on his way out the door. He has also included a plea to the American People to stop him from being ousted by 5pm today.

Eric Massa gave an interview to a Rochester radio station which was released this morning:

“Mine is now the deciding vote on the health care bill,” Massa said during a long monologue on radio station WKPQ. “And this administration and this House leadership have said, quote-unquote, they will stop at nothing to pass this health care bill. And now they’ve gotten rid of me and it will pass. You connect the dots.”

The reason Massa opposes the healthcare bill is because he is a staunch Single Payer advocate but this could get interesting today – will the Right adopt the banner that the enemy of my enemy is my friend and support Massa staying in office as a “NO” vote on healthcare? Massa has reached out, saying:

“I’m not going to be a Congressman as of 5 o’clock [Monday] afternoon. The only way to stop that is for me to rescind my resignation. That’s the only way to stop it. And the only way that’s going to happen is if this becomes a national story.”

Massa then continued to say to another caller into the radio station:

“I can’t call Fox News. You guys gotta call Fox News. I can’t do it. … Here’s why. I’m in the center of this storm, so obviously I’m not objective.”

Lady Libertas never watches soap operas but I am off to get the popcorn on this one.

Massa is burning bridges left and…well…left:

“”Rahm Emanuel is son of the devil’s spawn…He is an individual who would sell his mother to get a vote.”
