While reading my devotional this morning a light bulb lit up: Nehemiah 4:9 “we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat.”
That is how I have come to see Smart Girl Politics, Political Integrity Now and the plethora of other conservative watchdog “guard” groups throughout America. Most of us pray and then take action. We keep each other informed so that we can exercise our first amendment to implement changes.
One of the actions I took was to write one of my Senators, Jeff Sessions about the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty that Hilary Clinton is poised to sign. She justifies it by “seizing the opportunity”. I believe we have learned to interpret phrases such “never let a crisis go to waste” are not as innocuous as they intend for them to sound. In other words, we have learned to understand what they really mean with their words.
Senator Sessions states that the United Nations is encouraging member states to begin working on a treaty to establish international standards for the import, export, and transfer of firearms. He believes, and I agree, the ratification of this treaty would be detrimental to our citizens “because it has the potential to diminish the authority of our Constitution and subject our citizens to overly prescriptive international laws.” And let me add, potentially destroy our 2nd amendment.
Now, let’s go back to December 16, 2009 when President Obama, without a reason, secretly signed Executive Order 12425 that gives the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) unprecedented access in America to pursue and prosecute criminals. Or should we say “criminals” as the Obama administration would love to try President Bush for “war crimes.” Who else would fall under “criminals” I’d like to know? By the way, the only answer that the White House has given for signing such a EU is “there is nothing newsworthy here.” Stew on that for just a second.
First, that is not an answer and second this order removed the restrictions on Interpol so that their property and assets are no longer subject to search and confiscation. This is a law enforcement agency that up until Dec. 16 was held in check in America by provisions in the Freedom of Information Act. Please read the 4th amendment of our Constitution. Let me say this again: Obama did away with that on Dec. 16. Our CIA and FBI do not have this protection, yet international police do?
Are you getting it yet? Obama just gave Interpol the ability to act outside of our Constitution! With this EO, no one can access Interpol’s workings in America!
Hmmm, let’s see: Clinton desires to sign a treaty with the United Nations that smells of usurping our 2nd amendment and Obama just signed an EO that can circumvent our 4th amendment.
Action: Executive Orders can be nullified by Congress through legislation.
Write your congressman and Senators to rescind this EO for Interpol as unconstitutional. Write Sec. of State Hilary Clinton that we, as Americans do not want her to sign that treaty with the United Nations, but would rather see America enforce the laws we have.
Now going back to my devotional: pray and take action.

Just thinking out loud here, but if interpol acts on any UN action violating our constitutional rights which were set foruth to protect life libert and the pursuit of happiness. Then as a foriegn country or agency isnt this considered a declaration of war on our country, and wouldnt it be the same as being invaded by a foreign power. Just curious if anyone could answer me this I would appreciatte it. Thanks.
Joy – EO 12425 was created and signed by the not yet sainted, but still much revered President Ronald Reagan. Yes, President Reagan was providing Interpol access to opperate in the United States. The order has been ammended twice, once by EO12971 and then by President Obama with his EO13524. Both ammendments to President Reagan’s order dealt with customs duties and importation taxes.
The story of Nehemiah is about a good man who is trying to rebuild a city, but is having to guard against men who would rather see him fail. Are you acting like Nehemiah, or like Sanballat and the others who were hoping for failure?
There is so much to learn and to relearn and keep up with, but I will surely do my best to stay informed. To put our heads in the sand is sure death.

Just in case people don’t understand, Bush and Obama are one in the same, another face to hide behind. And this small arms treaty is exactly what they need to push their agenda forward as it sounds. Their New World Order which has been in the making for the last 20 or 30 years from what I’ve gathered, and this treaty sounds like a big step. Not only do they now have a policing organization with no attachment to the law, they are going to sign a treaty that will probably in some way or another, start to take away our right to bare arms and protect ourselves. Our government, at least its main leaders and the people really behind our government, in NO WAY, have our best interests in mind. DAMN THE MAN!
A communist lady once said, I would rather have a pistol than a wedding ring. Even my husband can not protect me from these government thugs. If they dis-arm America, detention centers are right around the corner if you are lucky enough to live. Better stop writing about the problem and start getting together on a solution. Every day that goes by with more and more rules, regulations, government, lost liberty, and power hungry leaders, the less you will be able to stop them later on. The November election is going to do nothing but put the other Republican Socialists in power. Study our Forefathers and read history before the books are burned or outlawed. Public Schools are already changing history and teaching our children how to be serfs. Money and guns are power, so you will surely give up both. Wake up to the fact this is not going to end in a nice way.

Writing about the problem is the first step, then writing, calling, emailing,making appointments to speak one on one with representatives, speaking out publicly and action plans…all of which I have done and will continue to do to help people become more aware.
I feel as if we are in the batter’s cage with the pitch of the balls coming at us at a faster speed…some we can hit, but most we are missing. But we must remain in the batter’s cage slugging away.
November and the next few months are going to be very rocky and that is probably an understatement…but if nothing else good has come out of this, this is the most important…I renewed my faith and am armed with the Shield of God. (And tangibles as well.) And for that, I am ETERNALLY grateful!!
