OPINION PIECE and in no way reflects the views of Political Integrity Now or any of its other contributors.

Now then….Scott Brown.  We all saw it, so there is no need for me to rehash it here.  He won.  In MA.  He was given the Sacred Seat of Power that had been in Kennedy’s Legacy since 1952.  Was it a huge shocker?  Oh yeah.  To be sure.

Even now the TV channels are full of Scott Brown this and Scott Brown that and all sorts of speculations and predictions about how he might be the next big GOP candidate for the Presidency and so on and so on.  The Conservative pundits out here are ga-ga over this guy and have essentially said that he, and he alone, has somehow single-handedly brought the Obama Nation down to its knees with his awesomeness.  Guys, I thought the Obama worship was bad, but come on now.  We’re Conservatives, not blind sycophants.  The last time I saw Republicans and Conservatives, (big difference), so excited was when Sarah Palin came to FOX News.

Listen, I understand being excited about this new development.  I do.  But Scott Brown is NOT the “Conservative Messiah” who will bring America out of the darkness of progressive rule and into the Glorious Light of the GOP.  It ain’t gonna happen, folks.  Scott Brown is not the important issue here.  The message that was sent by his winning in MA, ahh, now THAT is the important message.

We need to not play into this emotional hero worship that is a liberal trait.  We need to stay focused on The Big Picture.  Scott Brown is not the Big Picture.  He is, as of now, just a guy who made good in the Bluest of Blue States.  Before you all go coronating him, let’s see what he is really all about.  He is not as Conservative as some would like to think.  Take that not as a judgment, but as a realistic, attention to detail, observation.  Time will tell if I am wrong.  If I am, I will expect to be called to task and I will gladly apologize.  On my honor and my word as a man.

I’m glad that Obama and his minions have been shown that not all is wondrous in New Camelot.  I am.  I went to sleep Tuesday night with a big ol’ grin.  But let’s not lose focus on fighting the progressives and taking back this country because we are so fascinated with this Scott Brown fellow.  He is not the Conservative Messiah.  The message is what matters.

Now let’s get back to work, y’all.  Time’s a wastin’.  The progressives have been dealt a fierce blow to their jowls and they are still wobbly.  Let’s put this sucker down.

Long Live the Republic.

Thank you! You are correct. Scott Brown is not the conservative messiah. He’s not even conservative. Not really. But his election did stop O-care in its tracks–at least in its current monstrous form. And for that, I’m grateful to the voters of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Frank Luntz focus group on Hannity on election night was most revealing. Those who supported Obama (but switched and voted for Brown) asserted they didn’t want “one-party rule.” Yes, even voters in a deep blue state recognized the Democrat supermajority in Congress had resulted in creating a monster. But ultimately, it may have been their pocketbooks that caused them to vote the way they did. With Romneycare, they didn’t want to take on the rest of the nation’s healthcare costs, too. And that’s okay. Brown has said subsequent to the election, that he favors the states making their own decisions on the subject as Massachusetts did. Hooray! Most importantly, this will hopefully delay the government getting their grimy fingers on our healthcare and our liberty–at least until the next arrogant Progressive Socialist gets elected to the White House along with an arrogant and liberal Progressive Congressional supermajority. The electorate has a short memory.
