As the Obama administration continues to push government controlled health care, the majority of Americans continue to voice their opposition towards the democrat’s health care plan they know will have cataclysmic results.  Opposers believe it is an infringement on their rights, coincides with a socialist agenda, will lead to rationed care, and will only cater to the healthy while flirting with population control. 

According to an article by Fox News, a government task force thinks claims cancer is no longer a threat to women under 50, critics may finally have validation of the governments intent.

A government task force said Monday that most women don’t need mammograms in their 40s and should get one every two years starting at 50 — a stunning reversal and a break with the American Cancer Society’s long-standing position. What’s more, the panel said breast self-exams do no good, and women shouldn’t be taught to do them.

The notion by the government that it is more harmful to have screening BEFORE age 50, raises a lot of eyebrows, and questions the government by asking, “who or what are you in this for?” 

The benefits are less and the harms are greater when screening starts in the 40s,” said Dr. Diana Petitti, vice chair of the panel.

The only benefits to increasing the age from 40 to 50 will be to the government, if their health care bill is passed.  It will reduce the cost significantly for mammograms, it will eliminate the cost of millions of women who would have been diagnosed with breast cancer, at an early enough stage to receive treatment, but it will cost the lives of those who were not diagnosed early enough, and give them a reason to give them “the pain killer” for a condition in which the treatment may not necessarily work”, according to President Obama.

Remember, when the government runs your health care, they set the rules.  If they believe you should not get examined before age 50…you won’t!  If they believe you are too sick to receive treatment…you won’t!

But don’t worry; the government will still have plenty of pain killers.
