If you actually believe that Iran will fulfill its commitment to cooperate with the U.S. for the first time in 30 years, think again.  And why should they?  The White House is already, not 24 hours later, backing off its two week deadline stance.  According to The Hill, State Department spokesman Ian Kelly doesn’t think a firm deadline was demanded:

“I don’t think that there’s a hard-and-fast deadline,” State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said during Friday’s press briefing, after a reporter asked what the consequences of Iran’s inaction might be…”I don’t know that it’s written in stone, necessarily,” Kelly repeated about the deadline. “But I think we’ll find out more details when — after [IAEA head Mohamed] ElBaradei’s trip.”

Obama Poker

Let’s not forget, the White House already said “the U.S. will not push for sanctions.” In the meantime, Iran will likely continue to produce Uranium capable of producing a nuclear bomb.
