Let’s not encourage others to “ignore” one another. We can disagree, but if someone is not providing relevant thoughts or facts of any kind, call them on it. That’s the premise of having this site. Otherwise just ignore on your own and let others converse with whomever they choose. I wouldn’t want to encourage anyone to ignore you. We all have a right to be heard. Some people will debate the way you’re accustomed, others will call names, others will just plain make no sense at all. But that’s life. It’s kind of childish to try to gang up on someone just because you don’t like his debating style. I happen to disagree personally with most everything PJ has posted here, but I’d like to think I’ve been able to do that with respect. If I don’t feel I’m being respected in return, that’s ok with me. Someone else somewhere out there can still learn from how you handle your situation. It’s never a good idea to react in a negative manner just because you think someone else is. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

But I have one for you, sir? Who else would you call a RINO..I say McCain, Snowe and anyone of the 8 who voted for cap and trade in the House.

I see Michelle M, and apparently also you like to keep the little box with the name “Republican” on it, really really small.
I figure that having served in the house for 8 years (elected 4 times) and the senate for another 6 years, serving active duty in the military, serving in 3 wars, being a member of the Judge Advocate General, and having been a reliable vote for his party in both houses for many years, he would at least be a member in good standing. Sure, he has been known to have his own opinion from time to time (GASP!) but why does that have to mean he no longer belongs to the “club”?

When Ms. Malkin and the self appointed “protectors” of the “Republican” name are finished will there be any “Real Republicans” left standing?
Continuing to enforce this ridiculous tyranny of opinion only serves to further marginalize the party. Instead of smacking down anyone who takes half a step outside the box where it is OK to have an opinion, perhaps Ms. Malkin could try another approach. Listening to a variety of ideas from well respected members of YOUR OWN PARTY, is a good way to find novel solutions to the difficult issues that America must deal with.

I can’t believe that these stupid politicians are trying to extort obedience from the people who voted them into office. And to scare us, they are using the very Administration they all kissed up to — better let us mess the country up because Obama’s rabid environmentalist czar will make it worse. Who do they think they are? Being a Congressman–person, does not give them an entitlement to their positions–YES, I’m talking to You — You idiots can be voted out of office for your numbskull mindless goose stepping acceptance of a plan that will cripple America while ensuring China and other third-world thugs more export capital while creating a larger deficit for the US. It is not too late to realize, Mr./Ms. Politician, if you get on that extortion highway–it doesn’t have any off-ramps–it will destroy this great country and we, as a people, will have lost a valuable part of our lives — the belief that when we sent you to Washington, you went there to choose the best course of action for the people you represent — not the special interest groups — not the socialist dogs of bondage — not the socialist president who placed those dogs into his administration — but US — the American People — who have lost grandfathers, grandmothers, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends throughout the ages fighting against oppression — dieing to help the world see what freedom really means. And more than anything else, to keep America Free from the likes of Mr. Obama and his Orcs.They are slaving away in underground slim pits to unleash the next global crisis — the next set of laws to suppress and milk the hard-working middle class. Where will this end? It will end when there is no middle class, there is no upper class — except for the very select few — the rest of America will be the poor class — no jobs, no innovation, no small businesses, poor and failing schools (we’re almost there on this one), we will have become what the Orcs are creating — a Socialistic Hell — where only the elite have internet or computers, drive new cars, live in large homes, not crumbling apartment buildings, eat the finest foods, and whose children attend the best schools. While the rest of America returns to the 1800′s — back to the collective farms for you ignorant populace — we know what is best for you — grow crops — sell crops — plant crops — brutish work for mindless automatons. But, are we willing to go softly into that brave new future Mr. Obama has planned for us?
