“The Republican Party has thrown in its lot with the terrorists – the Taliban and Hamas this morning – in criticizing the President for receiving the Nobel Peace prize,” DNC communications director Brad Woodhouse told POLITICO.
---------------------------------------------

And the DNC thinks this will enamor the American public to their side HOW exactly? You say that the GOP is siding with Hamas and the Taliban, and it's, like, no big deal, okay, cuz they are, like, stupid Republicans and like, we are cool Democrats, so like, yeah, Bush is dumb, and Rush is fat! (My apologies if I offended your sensibilites. Whenever I am flabbergasted by stupidity from someone else, I break into Valley Girl-speak.)

This quote from the DNC, from the DNC!, is too much for me. I could just as easily call Congress and the uber-liberal progressives there traitors since they seem determined to bankrupt our Nation. But to what end? Name-calling never suited me.

The DNC has simply gone too far and they have said too much for me to believe they have any credibility left. I'm not defending the GOP here, but come on folks...only a complete idiot would think this quote is acceptable and non-vitriolic.

I hate this kind of ad hominem attack, I am disappointed that the DNC went in this direction. The American public clearly expressed their distaste for this kind of rhetoric in the last 2 election cycles.

That said - the DNC did NOT say that anyone who laughs at the President's Nobel Prize is siding with the terrorist, they said "The REPUBLICAN PARTY has thrown in its lot with the terrorists", and they go on to make the case that the RNC's constant attacks on the President are part of a continuing track record of vitriol that is shameless and respects no boundaries. That sounds about right to me. A dignified "We think this award may have been premature, but none the less congratulate the President for this prestigeous award" would have been perfect from the RNC. Steele's actual comments, "It is unfortunate that the president’s star power has outshined tireless advocates who have made real achievements", are without class. I am hoping Mr. Steele comes to realize that there is more he can offer the Republican Party than attempting to turn every news event into a jab at the President.
