Tonight on Fox News, Sean Hannity will travel to the San Joaquin Valley where the federal government has forced the shut down of irrigation pumps that supply water to 30 to 40 thousands of farmers and residents in the area. The controversy is the result of a 2 inch minnow called the “delta smelt” that is on the endangered species list. Environmentalist claimed that the minnow was getting stuck in the water pumps, took the issue to court, and won.
The San Joaquin Valley is known as “the Bread Basket of America” due to the high volume of fruits, vegetables and nuts that are grown in the area, and end up on our dinner tables.
