Democrat hypocrisy: Joe Wilson (R-SC) gets a taste of what Joe the Plumber earned for doubting Barack Obama

Joe Wilson tells Obama he lied about illegal immigrant coverage in health care reform bill.Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C. had the audacity to speak out against Barack Obama during the televised address to the joint houses last night.  What was the last straw for Rep. Wilson?  The section of the speech where Obama “laid to rest” several “lies” that his health reform critics have been reporting.  Obama said, “it’s a lie” that abortions will be authorized and funded under HR 3200.  Our president lied to the American people yet again, and offered no facts to back up his claims.  He is under the delusion that words spoken by The One magically become fact and should be accepted as such by the American people.  What drove Wilson over the edge was Obama’s statement that “it’s a lie” that HR 3200 would fund illegal immigrants.  Just as with his other claims, he made this statement without bothering to back his claim up with facts, page numbers, or references of any sort.  Obama said it, so it must be true?  Not exactly.  Rep. Wilson let his emotions get the best of him, just as those who have attended Town Hall meetings and have felt the need to raise their voices after being ignored and suppressed repeatedly.  There are fears that talks of providing amnesty to illegal aliens would enable them to reap the benefits of any public option.  In addition, at least 2 proposed amendments, which would require strict proof of citizenship to avoid the issue altogether, were swiftly defeated.  It is understandable that someone would stand up and be heard when he sees the president simply dismiss claims again, without ever offering anything to back up his claims.

Now the Obama-critic-police have come out in full force.  You saw it on the campaign trail when Samuel Wurzelbacher, aka Joe the Plumber, dared question the logic behind Obama’s “spread the wealth” ideology.  The MSM’s viewing public was promptly informed that “Joe” wasn’t even his real name.  We learned that “he isn’t even a licensed plumber.”  We were told that “he owes back taxes…and he doesn’t even have the money to buy his own business.”  State employees were caught illegally accessing his records, and it was later determined that the same employees were Obama campaign contributors.  CQ Politics is now reporting that Joe Wilson amended his 2008 financial disclosure form.

“Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., is heavily leveraged and his debts may even exceed his assets, according to an amended financial disclosure form for 2008 that for the first time reveals hundreds of thousands of dollars in previously unreported loans from federal credit unions and banks.

Wilson made headlines Wednesday night for yelling “Lie. You lie,” at President Obama during an address to a joint session of Congress. Now, it turns out that the personal financial disclosure form Wilson filed with the House of Representatives in May was grossly inaccurate.”

Although the Obama White House has already taught us that if you happen to be an Obama supporter, you are free to “make an honest mistake” on your tax return, Joe the Plumber and Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C. have learned the ultimate lesson:  Never doubt The One.
