Members of Congress sent a letter to the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Douglas Shulman, urging the IRS to sever all ties between them and the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN). Members of Congress signing the letter include Republican Leader Rep. John Boehner, Republican Whip Rep. Eric Cantor and Ranking Member Ways and Means Rep. Dave Camp.
In addition, Rep. John Leader sent a similar letter directly to President Obama.
