Sarah Palin on Facebook

The labor-affiliated group “Americans United For Change“, has resorted to typical liberal attacks and smears by putting an ad on Facebook, asking Sarah Palin to “stop lying about death Panel.  Greg Sargent, of the Washington Post blog sates “Health insurance reform is too important for outright lies…Send Sarah Palin a message; tell her to stop lying about ‘death panels.’”  However, there are 2 things missing from the ad.  One, if the “death Panels” did not exist, then how where they removed from the Senate bill.  Two, facts that prove Sarah is lying, such as facts that the “death panels” DO NOT exist.  Although the term “death panel” is not in the bill, the concept Palin speaks of certainly is.

Sounds like Sarah Palin is quite the force to be reckoned with, even though the left claims she is of no importance.

    Chet:
I have to agree with you a bit here. Ms. Palin made up the term “death panels” to scare the public. At the time she first coined the phrase, she was implying that the health care bill in its then current form had contained government panels that would make life or death decisions about whether or not to treat her autistic child. This was of course completely false. My agreement with you is that having made up death panels herself, she can’t really be lying about them. They are her own fantastic creation. She should be able to say whatever she wants to about them. I do, however think it is irresponsible to talk about them in the context of the health care reform bill that is trying to make its way through congress. I also agree with you the Ms. Palin is a strong political force, and is unlikely to just fade into the background anytime soon. Imagine how productive she could have been if instead of lobbing this lie at the health care bill – she brought it up as an important subject that we “have to get right” in whatever bill is finally past.

If its a lie , why was it removed the Bill? Explain thatChet

also you gotta think about this one, besides being removed from the Senate Bill the Left is making other claims, if the Left was so smart how did they elect obama?

    Jim,

I think you misunderstood. Chet’s article is saying that those who are claiming she lied, are lying themselves–hence the removal from the bill. Read the article again. He’s telling us that while they claim Palin is lying, they don’t offer any proof to back that up, and in addition, they claim to have removed the part in question.

I think they elected Obama because he is a good salesman. They were so fed up with what they perceived to be corruption and ineptness in the Bush administration, that they were just looking for someone on the opposite end of the political spectrum–and that is exactly what they found.
